We know that autocorrect is a fine source of Pokémon Gonicknames, but a 2-year-old's imagination is way better.

Imgur user June1920 named each of her Pokémon based on what her toddler called them: Metapod is "a moon," Caterpie is "um potato" and Magmar is, magnificently, "Claws Parrot." (Where did you catch that Magmar? Please tell us.)
